Xaar a arrêté la production de la Xaar 128/40L (XP12800007) et l'a remplacée par la Xaar Irix Core 40L (XP12800070). Ce remplacement est entièrement compatible et plug-and-play : même taille, même logiciel, même encre, et aucune modification du firmware n'est nécessaire.
