Description
This printhead set is suitable for second generation of Roland Truevis VG-540i & VG-640i printers. This is the original Roland part (number 6000006702 replacing 6000005976, 6000003991, 6000003077, 6000003425, 6000002330, 6000004770, 6000005975, 6000004769 & 6000003990).
Initially there were two head versions, with short cables (200mm) for SG and some VG printers, and with long cables (250mm) for all later models. This VG-i Assy Inkjet Head 250L - 6000006702 printhead is the long cable version. The head with long cables can be used instead of the one with short cables. This printhead is therefore suitable for all SG and VG models (including SG and VG version 2 and 3).
We recommend to change the head cables when installing a new printhead.
The following items are expressly excluded from warranty coverage:
- defects related, in any way, to the use of non-original inks
- clogged, missing or deviated nozzles
- defects related to misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, lack of use, or improper storage when not in use for extended periods
- defects related to failure to perform periodic maintenance as specified in the user documentation; operation for unintended purposes
- defects related to improper loading of media
- all other defects, failures or damage not considered manufacturing defects
- defects related to third-party applications, software, parts, components, or peripheral devices, including any bulk ink system.
- defects that are merely cosmetic in nature.
