Description
Genuine Xaar Irix Pro printhead with a 40pL drop size. The insulator tag is light grey, which is how this head is identified against the 80pL version's purple tag. 128 active nozzles at 185 NPI density give a 17mm print swathe, running at up to 8.3 kHz and a linear speed of 1.17 m/s at 180 DPI. Xaar's AcuDrp calibration tunes each nozzle for drop volume and velocity, keeping print uniformity within +/- 0.10 m/s drop velocity variation and max angular deviation of 0.7 degrees. Compatible with oil, solvent and water-based ink systems; print distance under 10mm. Ink connections are 3.1mm, so use 3mm ID tubing, chosen to suit your ink.

- all other defects, failures or damage not considered manufacturing defects
- defects related to third-party applications, software, parts, components, or peripheral devices, including any bulk ink system
- defects that are merely cosmetic in nature
